Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands

July 9, 2009

i’ve decided to reactivate this blog and turn it into a journal accounting everything that i am grateful for each day. think i’ve had enough of feeling sorry for myself and start counting my blessings. if you’ve already noticed i am not using capital letters when i start my sentences, this is because i’m gonna be as casual as possible from now on.

to start it off, I am confirmed! albeit verbally. this is the first time in my working life that i’ve been confirmed in a company as a permanent staff. my earlier working years were too playful, plus i was still soul-searching. and then i found my passion but i was freelancing. now this is the real job and i am a confirmed copywriter in an ad agency! i am thankful.

bebe and i just moved into our own place 2 weeks ago. we now live in a 2-room townhouse. i now enjoy the luxury of having a working kitchen, fridge, and tv with astro. i am thankful.

janet introduced me to manuka honey a week ago when peter was asking for a remedy for his cough. i bought an active 10+ manuka honey 2 days ago and have been taking a teaspoon every morning. it makes me poo easily everyday. and also, i’ve been studying its goodness, it has a lot of health benefits. it’s so expensive, like the priciest honey i ever bought in my life expensive, but it’s really worth it. i am thankful.

after watching a couple of sci-fi thriller trailers, i remembered a common line from old alien invasion movies and out of nowhere, i made a connection to my beloved industry – advertising. it prompted me to write a blog post and Bee Nee helped check my language and flow. it’s good to have a good friend who’s an english degree holder. i am thankf

i went to midvalley to have jacket potato and gelato for dinner. gelato at gellatissimo is the best gelato in KL! this time, i had choc hazelnut flavour. had my gelato card stamped and found out i have my next gelato – free! i am thankful.

i am now waiting for the michael jackson’s interview with oprah videos to load. i still cant get over that he’s gone. he’s made such an impact in my life. if you’re the type of person who likes to make fun of him even after his death, screw you. i love michael jackson. he’s the greatest entertainer that ever lived and i am thankful i get to share this lifetime with him. what i learned from the life and death of michael jackson: don’t judge people if you don’t know them. eVen if you do, what makes you think you have the right?

i bought bebe’s favourite egg mayo jacket potato and some krispy kreme doughnuts for him. poor bebe is still at work and is so stressed. the food is on the kitchen table and he better be grateful when he comes home.

*always follow your heart and make true your dreams*

Love.
